Episode 1 of 24. A reading of the book Policies of Exclusion, Poverty & Health: Stories from the front. Compiled, with Introduction and Reports by Chrystal Ocean. Copyright 2005.
Each page of this book tells a story, not only the stories of the 21 women, but also the larger story of our efforts to organize and the barriers which continue to thwart our efforts. The last page of the last report of the book reveals our hope and determination that it not signal the end, but the beginning of meaningful change - for ourselves, for our families, and for our communities.
