The story of Chris is hard hitting and hard to listen to. The narrator's calm delivery doesn't hide the terrible enormity of injustice done to a small child, which has so adversely affected the rest of her life. I can only wonder how Chris has managed to keep herself together after all she has been through. When we speak of "strong" women, little do we know just how strong they really are.
